Site from the Neolithic Age to the early Bronze Age Location: Mawan Island, Hong Kong Period: 3700-500 BC Excavated in 1997
 Significance: It has provided important materials for the study of the prehistoric cultures of Hong Kong.

Introduction
Site in the North of Dongwantsai, with an unearthed area of 1,500 square meters, is a typical sand-mound site. More than 20 tombs were discovered, with abundant cultural relics such as pottery, stone and bone wares, and mussel tools. Most astonishingly, archaeologists found 15 skeletons of ancient people in the site.
